Sydonia: Time Witch

This idea started from a competition piece for Concept101's 2024 convention competition. The prompt was 'Artisan Magician'. After much deliberation and back and forth, the idea evolved into something different and into what it is now.

The artisan element of the design was related entirely to watches, clocks and beautiful artisan metallic works that are associated with valuable vintage time pieces. This is why a lot of the design components are inspired by sharp angles and clock hands. As this character was going to be an antagonist, the sharp shape language fits.
