F.A.E.R.Y. Splash Art
The culmination of the F.A.E.R.Y. project is a splash art intended to give a sense of the team, mood of the project and themes. The mood here is meant to convey action, authority and 'epicness'.
The F.A.E.R.Y.s are interplanetary warriors, of multiple cultures from the far future. Their powers, tech and uniforms all combine to give them incredible abilities that might even seem like magic.
Rather than choosing to do a fully rendered illustration, I decided it would be best to go for a clean line style, congruent with the project as a whole, with simple cell shading and some effects added at the end.
